Hard

Tilicho Peak lies in the north-west of Annapurna ranges. It is also lies right above the highest lake of the world Tilicho Lake. Tilicho Peak Climbing is hard comparing to other 700m peaks in Nepal. The peak was discovered in 1950 by the team led by Maurice Herzog. who were attempting to find Annapurna I then. The first ascent was made in 1979 by the French climber Emanuel Schmutz using the northwest shoulder. There are two way to climb this peak i.e. from Marshyandi valley and from Kali Gandaki valley route. If you attempt through Kali Gandaki valley, climber will have good acclimatization by crossing Mesokenta-la pass of 5300m with tranquil view of Tilicho Lake and many more mountains sorroundings. Tilicho Peak base camp is located near the Tilicho Lake at 5200m high. Tilicho Peak Climbing is also little bit harder to reach on the camp I at the beginning stage.
